The Golden Lions traveled to Rutherford County to face the Chase High Trojans in a conference matchup. The Golden Lions started out quickly and led after one quarter 34-6. The Golden Lions had 8 possessions in the 1st half, scoring on all 8 for a 55-6 advantage at halftime. A running clock was used in the 2nd half as the Golden Lions continued their undefeated streak against the Trojans. The all-time series between the two teams now stands at 54-0-1. The Golden Lions will return home next Friday to face County Rival Burns Bulldogs for sole possession of 1st place in the South Mountain Athletic Conference. The Golden Lions will be looking to extend their school record home winning streak, dating back to 2015, to 32 games.
